Target
Reorganization | remodeling of the Inpatient sector to install a Continuing Convalescence Care Unit, with the maximum number of beds possible and without resorting to enlargements and external alterations to the image and volumetry of the Health Centre. The classification of the UCC typology (medium or long-term) depends on the needs defined by the National Network for Continuing Integrated Care (RNCCI).
Building | Intervention
The work area established for floor 1 was 1178 m² and for floor 0 593 m². The technical areas and garage (170 m²) were excluded, despite occasional repair and conservation interventions. In order to verify the RSECE, the scope of this project also included: the thermal treatment of the facades and roof; the replacement and redesign of the exterior frames of the intervention wings.
Building |Functional organization
The new project manages to guarantee the installation of 10 double rooms and 9 single rooms, making a total of 29 beds. Each room is equipped with a support sanitary installation and an individual locker/per bed, guaranteeing the minimum dimensions required. The double rooms also have a toilet. The remaining functional program - requested in the type programs of the Continuing Care Units and in the specific legislation - was conditioned by the privileged location of the "room" modules in the project, by the existing structural and fenestration rhythm, and by the access column (stairs and elevator). ) to floor 0. Includes living room | conviviality, dining room with pantry, nursing station, observation room | treatments, assisted bathing, cleaning equipment storage, washing/disinfection of medical equipment and bed bed treatment, medical room | nursing, speech therapy office, multipurpose room, electrotherapy and gym.
